Bio
I am an assistant professor in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship group at the UCL School of Management.
I earned my doctorate from the Technology and Operations Management unit at HBS. I received an A.B. in Economics and Government at Dartmouth College.
My prior work experience includes strategy and finance roles at startups and financial services firms. My startup experience included founding introPLAY, which developed community-based services to promote physical activity. I also worked at Vencast, a financial services startup that matched institutional capital with startups, hedge funds, and private equity funds. My experience in finance includes Ahab Capital Management, a distressed hedge fund, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (since acquired by Credit Suisse), where I worked in the Space and Satellite Group. While working in industry, I was a CFA charterholder.
I am an avid reader of all things consumer electronics, technology, data, politics, etc.
