Research summary: My research examines the management of digital platforms by participating firms and by the platform itself. As intermediaries that allow multiple sets of users to transact directly, platforms digitize information, communication, and transactions, allowing for near instant availability. I am interested in understanding how the acceleration in the aggregation and sharing of information affects firms and platforms.
